Description: Aurélia (Aureliaslight) is an award winning new age recording artist, composer, pianist, singer, choral director and educator. As an empath, Usui reiki master and intuitive sound and energy healer, Aurélia is an avid and passionate explorer of sound and its effects on consciousness. She holds her Masters in Music and Education from Western Connecticut State University, with post masters studies at The Juilliard School and Manhattanville College. Being born into a musically gifted family, Aurélia has been fascinated with energy and sound from as long as she can remember. Classically trained on the piano since the age of 5 she had a drive and passion to compose music differently and started experimenting at age 7 with her own form of composition. Receiving a full music scholarship by the B’nai Brith Organization she entered into the realm of music education and became a choir director and taught over 20,000 students in the NY public school system. “Being with students of all ages, creating and moving to sound and music has been an extraordinary part of my journey. The main essence of my teaching has been to instill love and joy while honoring our great spiritual connection when we commune together in sound, silence. Mass amounts of energy can be moved and uplifted just by using sound and intention transmuting the whole into a higher vibration on a quantum physical level when we are conscious”.
