Description: Laoura Gini
Pianist • Film Composer • Gong Master • Sound Practitioner
For over 25 years, Laoura Gini has been a bridge between Western classical traditions and Eastern healing sound practices. With Master’s Degrees in Piano Performance and Composition from the National Conservatory of Athens, her path expanded through studies in Electronic Music, Yoga Philosophy, and advanced training in Sound Healing with Planetary Gongs in New Mexico and Tibetan Singing Bowls in Nepal.
For more than a decade, she traveled regularly to India and Nepal, studying Nada Yoga (the Yoga of Sound) and exploring how subtle vibrations and ancient Buddhist sound healing practices with Tibetan bowls can awaken states of harmony and transformation.
As a certified Gong Master, her journey was profoundly shaped by teachers such as Richard Rudis, Sylvia Nakash, Jonathan Goldman, and Dr. John Beaulieu, deepening her practice with vibrational medicine, tuning forks, and the transformative resonance of sacred sound.
Laoura has performed extensively across Europe in classical, jazz, and world music ensembles, and composed original film scores for the award-winning documentary Pelican Watch and the feature film The First Line (Promakhos).
Her album Gong Bath – The Healing Sound offers an immersion into the resonance of Sun Gong and Tibetan Singing Bowls.
Based in Santorini, she guides sound baths, wellness retreats, and small-group sessions weaving together Gong resonance, Yin yoga, breathwork, and voice activation, inviting participants into states of balance, clarity, and inner transformation.
