| Description: | Katie Down, (LCAT, MT-BC, MM) is a licensed creative arts therapist, teacher, composer, and performer. She is an associate professor of music therapy at SUNY New Paltz and is the regional coordinator for the Angel Band Project, a free music therapy service for survivors of sexual assault and intimate partner violence. Katie works in the fields of music therapy, sound healing, mindfulness meditation and deep listening practices. She is an active composer, performer and educator in sound and music and runs a sound training program twice a year in upstate New York. |
